Production Optics requirements for this match

For this competition we will allow any gun in compliance with the rules of either IPSC Production Optics or USPSA/SCSA Carry Optics

Firearm and Optic Regulations

Approved Models: The handgun must appear on the official IPSC Production Division List or the USPCA Official List.

Single Action only pistols are strictly prohibited.

Optics: Red or green dot sights are mandatory. They must be mounted directly on the upper rear of the slide. Optics may be 1x magnification only.

Modifications: No compensators, ports, barrel weights or magwells are permitted. Aggressive slide milling (foward cocking serrations), weight reducing cuts that do not constitute porting, stippling, grip tape or silicone carbide texture on the frame are all permitted.

Holsters: The trigger guard must be covered. Race holsters, drop leg or tie down rigs are not permitted.

Start Position: You must start with the gun loaded, decocked and holstered with both wrists held above your shoulders until the audible beep. First shot has to be double action.

Magazine Capacity: Steel Challenge does not enforce the USPSA 15-round limit
